Slave Ownership or Self Ownership
Exercise freewill. Choose the personal responsibility path, for wealth and prosperity.
We are going to emancipate ourselves from mental slavery, because whilst others might free the body, none but ourselves can free the mind.
Mind is your only ruler, sovereign.
The man who is not able to develop and use his mind is bound to be the slave of the other man who uses his mind.

THE INVISIBLE CHAINS OF BONDAGE
It is of no surprise that Bitcoiners resonate with the words of a political activist whom campaigned in the early 1900’s for the end of European colonial rule across Africa.
What Bitcoin has done to the minds of BItcoiners is establish a new unit of account, a new means to measure the world around them. A means to measure the actions of ourselves and others, within a new system, detached and independent of that colonial based dependency.
What Bitcoin has done to a certain cross section of the minds of men around the world is provide them with the ability to open their eyes to the once invisible but now oh so treasonously visible, shackles of colonial rule, to those wicked fiat chains of trust & obedience.
And let me say here at the outset, what was indeed once a technological innovation in the form of a new global-telegraphic-lightning-fast-ledger-based-monetary-system, it was the costs associated with that system, deferred for decades, now coming due. The heavy weight of global deficits, global debts, and global malaise accrued to all time highs. The costs of centralization has reached its zenith, becoming impossible to brush under the rug, now a destroyer of worlds, maligned incentives gone astray.
There is an obvious reason why Bitcoiners have such vitriol with the fiat nocoiners. We all knew something was nihilistically fucked, but we couldn’t put our finger on what the problem was. The seemingly insurmountable doom hung above us perceptive few. We knew something was afoot, alas the propaganda of obey and trust hid the deceit, but only for a time.
In the process of coming to grips with Bitcoin, whereby Bitcoin becomes ones unit of account, the fiat system resolves itself into clarity, and in particular the education system that raised us all, under the auspices of “trust us” "and “obey us.” Once the pillars of childhood development, now seen in the cold reality as nothing but aberrations of what learning aught to be about.
As a Bitcoiner, it becomes appallingly obvious how damaged we were by the fiat education system. It becomes painfully obvious how the fiat education systems incentive structure did it’s best to NOT promote within us the ability to independently think critically about important decisions for ourselves.
What our fiat education systems does is to help us learn how NOT to understand ourselves and how NOT to best navigate the world for our own righteous self interests.
The base layer of fiat education, driven by maligned money printing incentives, is not “know they self” but rather “obey the commands of your mid wit authoritarian.”
The fiat education accomplishes its evils through a process of learned helplessness by repetitively enforcing trust and obedience.
What the fiat education system did for us was to indoctrinate us with the belief that we have no free will, that we should not think independently, nor critically, about anything. It taught us that we must keep our thinking within the allowable limits, to color within the lines, as it were, that we should accept the systems in place as they are, precisely because it serves the self interests of those in power of those systems.
We are trained to believe there is only one correct answer, that the person in the front commanding you is smarter and more qualified than you, that the person on the TV is telling you factual information, that you shall not question the information fed to you.
Your job is not to question, but to remember, to regurgitate, and to tell on those that don’t obey these commandments. The most obedient and the most trustworthy receive the highest social credit scores in the form of high marks, and degrees to become the new mid wit authorities for the next generation.
And on and on the cycles of obedience compound upon each other until the original purpose of education, to develop the ability to think critically and independently, is entirely lost and co-opted into a socialized propaganda machine. It is no wonder there are so many NPC’s running around doing exactly what CNN and FOX news tells them to do. Lol. We’ve all been hard wired to obey.
Oh what a globally fragile web we’ve woven.
Of course Bitcoiners carry a large amount of anger and resentment, once the curtain is drawn open and the horrific reality springs blindly into the forefront of our minds.
The horror. The horror.
The real surprise is that all of us Bitcoiner Legends have such an incredibly stoic ability to not perform physical retribution upon these criminals that had temporarily stolen our free will, our minds, and the decency to allow us our own personal responsibility over our lives. We understand incentives, and the mid wits know not what they do. In fact we pity the helpless mid wits, nevertheless, the fiery anger of broken incentives remains palpable at times.
This meme sums it up rather nicely.
It is thus no surprise that we want the Bitcoin revolution to be a peaceful revolution, because we know that change through violence, through theft of life is what got us into this quagmire in the first place. We want a system that no longer steals the lives of the masses. How hypocritical would we be to violently force a change, to do exactly what the fiat system has done to us all of our lives.
No, we will not impose our will violently. We will voluntarily create the change through aligned incentives. We will allow the self interested market to work its magic without our coercion. Bitcoin and Bitcoiners are the change we want to see in the world.
Through our own self awareness of the fiat system, how it has hindered our ability to think critically beyond the guarded walls of the fiat system, we can see that archaic system now for what it is, a system built on well intended but misguided trust and obedience, a system of malignant incentives.
To that system, we say no more. To it, and to everyone, everywhere we say don’t trust, verify.
To that system, we say, I am sovereign. I own myself, my livelihood, my money, my time, my labor, and the consequences of my decisions and actions. I have unalienable rights to life liberty and property, and heaven help the man that tries to deny me. Kindly sit the fuck down, you well intended mid-wit-do-gooder-misguided-authoritarians, thank you very much.
Kindly step aside Ms. Warren, I’ll live on my own terms now, thank you very much and good day, Jeffrey Epstein’s Banker, you hypocritical tapeworm. Good day, sir.
LEARNED HELPLESSNESS
Twenty years of indoctrination is a powerful force to overcome.
Do you understand how the brain is wired?
When we develop speech, memories, and habits as children and adolescents the neurons in our brains are physically being built, like roads across a land scape. Once those roads are built, and utilized for years on end, the only way to develop new pathways is to offer new paradigms, but after a certain age, around 18 to 24 years old, the brains ability to develop new neuron pathways is dramatically reduced. There is a reason you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. The plasticity of our brains calcifies as we age.
If you can indoctrinate into a youth the ideas that the state is your protector, that there are no objective truths, that inflation is normal, that taxation is the price of civilization, and that you must obey and trust the authorities, then, without a cataclysmic event like hyperinflation, you will have an extraordinarily difficult time snapping these lost souls out of their current brain wiring.
Only time, patience, empathy, meeting them where they are, and number go up technology will help them rewire, and rebuild the neuron roads of their minds from pathways of trust to don’t trust, verify, and from obey, to I am sovereign and I alone am responsible for, and have the authority of, my life.
Do you know what happens when you put an apex predator into a small cage from the day it is born, until it becomes an adult, for the entire time its brain is developing, trying to make sense of the world?
Do you know what happens when you do that to a ferocious grizzly bear?
The saddest thing in the world happens.
After 20 years of captivity in a small cage at a zoo in Romania, the bear Ina, freed now, still lives in an imaginary cage, walking blindly within its own mental prison.
Do you know what happens when you place the undeveloped mind of a child, for 20 years, from the age of 3 to the age of 23, from preschool to post graduate university, into an education system that is built upon the colonial pillars of obedience and trust?
Do you know what happens when you ask that person to think critically about something of utmost importance, to question the authority of “those in charge”?
They simply obey. They walk within the invisible cage that others have designed for them. Others that do not have their interests in mind.
What do you think happens when you hand over your money and trust in others to outsource your law and order, your health, and your children’s education?
I will tell you what happens. You have governments locking you down in your homes, outlawing your ability to exercise, walk in a park, or swim in the waters of a Sun soaked beach. You have mandated medical procedures. You have your children believing they can be a boy or a girl. You have the future generations of society turned into automatons, blindly following absurd orders their friendly overlords blast upon them through all mediums of transmission, from television advertisements, to Superbowl commercials, to block buster movies, to nightly news, to parent teacher meetings, to the latest pop music, and on and on.
All of it a well oiled trust and obey system, the outcome of decades of compounding broken incentives, to keep you dutifully working for your wages, dutifully following your financial advisors horrific investment advice, dutifully following your latest diet fad, dutifully following your social media’s latest dance moves, fitness craze, social justice movement, social panic fad, or whatever the latest shiny new thing the propaganda spooks have air dropped into that broken little fiat brain of yours.
There is only one way out of this clown show. Take responsibility of your law and your order, of your health, of your future, of your children’s future, and for the love of all things man, for the the future of humanity.
PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY MAXIMALIST
We cannot solve bad outcomes of a broken system from within the broken system. The only solution to stop the bad outcomes is to build a new system, migrate to the new system, and avoid the fallout and collateral damage that comes with the fall of the broken dying system.
Taxation and inflation are not sustainable systems. They are built around a further broken system, the money, gold money. If you can confiscate the money, and if you can successfully outlaw the money, you can debase the money, and you can tax the money. And if you can tax the money, you can spend the tax revenue in ways that are not tied to reality, in ways that have no profit motive. Once the profit motive is broken, once the government can operate without regards to profits and losses, reality is lost. And when reality is lost you can end up with a judicial system that allows mentally ill people like Craig Wright to drag innocent people to near ruin, in the name of “law and order.”
Sure, Craig Wright deserves punishment, but what enabled his lunacy in the first place, was the lunacy of giving the government our money to create a judicial system entirely detached from reality because there is no profit motive within the system. The profit and loss function of the market is what tells humans whether the good or service that is being provided is something that is wanted or not. Without a profit motive, and without voluntary exchange of goods and services, humans cannot conclude most efficiently whether the good or service is needed. And clearly, the Craig Wright debacle is a shining example of what happens when goods and services are provided, with best intentions, by mid wit politicians, without a profit motive, through coercive taxation and inflation.
As Saifedean Ammous explains in his fabulous book Principles of Economics:
While most of the world today has monopoly legal systems intertwined with the political system, it does not follow that arbitration and judicial review are goods that can only be provided by the state. The common law of Britain developed over centuries primarily from private courts, which were not under the command of government. Private courts offered their services to any citizens who would hire them, and they had every incentive to be as fair and impartial as possible to continue to secure the business of more clients. These courts did not have monopolies over territorial jurisdictions, and their areas of operation overlapped. So, citizens could choose to go to the court they trusted rather than remain confined to their local jurisdiction. Judges in these courts were incentivized to look at precedent cases to assess their own cases, and from the centuries of precedents and rulings, the common law as a body emerged. It did not emerge from the top-down design of a central planner. The law merchant and admiralty law were similarly developed in private courts. This independent and freely competitive judiciary was arguably quite instrumental in the development of free markets and enterprise in Britain. It was also very conducive to the emergence of the Industrial Revolution, which transformed the entire world’s economy.
In summary, it’s not politics or government that is broken, it’s the money that’s broken, the gold money. We tried fixing it with fiat and tax and inflation, and more government, and more politics, and more laws and more orders, and more trust and more obedience. But guess what folks, it ain’t working.
Going full slave ownership is the wrong path.
You never go full slave owner.
What we need is a better system, a better monetary system, something better than gold, and that’s Bitcoin.
And the price of the better money, is personal responsibility. It’s self ownership. It’s self custody, and participating in the network, accepting your sovereignty, and taking both the liberty and accepting the responsibility and the consequences of taking ownership of yourself and making decisions for yourself, come what may.
Be the change. The world is counting on you. Your ancestors are counting on you. And your descendants are counting on you.
A little less talk, and a little more (human) action.
Get after it.
Cheers.
