How Bitcoin will change your life. Forever. For good.
I was born in 1971, yes, the infamous year 1971 when USD was de-pegged from gold. Maybe that was a signal for me and that’s why I became a Bitcoin toxic maxi decades later.
FREEDOM IS IN MY HEART
My entire life I fought against the system. I lived 20 years in a communist regime and that trained me how to deal with an oppressive government, how to think openly and never trust any authority, government, or “experts”. From a kid I was following the rule “don’t trust, verify”.
That’s how the desire for freedom grew into my heart, bigger and bigger each year, each step I did to find my individual freedom. It was hard, really hard in a communist regime, to survive, to live, to think, to have a decent life. But I never gave up.
I was always a rebel. Literally. Nobody could “chain” me, whatever they tried. Not even my parents. My usual first answer was always NO, to any question. I learn how to deny any rule that people tried to impose over me. The word “NO” is really powerful if you know how and when to use it.
Once I learned how to read, being a kid, I started reading a lot of books, every day reading a few hours. And some of them were “prohibited” in the regime. But that’s how I learned what freedom is and how to fight for it. Later when I grow up as an adult, I learned more: Freedom is directly proportional with your responsibility.
KNOWLEDGE IS IN MY MIND
After years and years of self education (because in schools they never teach you something useful, only propaganda and how to be a slave), reading books and talking with wise people around me, I started accumulating quite a good package of knowledge in many fields, but in particular in the IT field. The technology fascinates me and became for me my hobby, my passion.
But also I was interested in other fields, like finance, politics, macro-economics, and philosophy. So I never stopped reading. I also worked in finances and accounting for some years. Money for me was a fascinating thing to manage and understand how it works.
So I left that country when I was almost 30 years old, to the west, prepared with a good knowledge and desire to know the world. I was really surprised to find out that the promised “capitalist free world” wasn’t so much “free” and not so much “capitalist”. I found out that it’s just a socialist regime, not far from a communist regime.
Having Netflix and internet is not freedom. Having to pay almost 40% of your income as “taxes” is not freedom. Having to request permission (to a government) for anything you want to do in your life is not freedom.
So I start digging and reading more, to find out that escape door, from this caged life.
At that time Bitcoin didn’t exist yet, but my mind was looking for something like that.
Slowly I was separating myself from the state, from depending on the state in any form, finding ways to not pay taxes, to not need to ask for permission to run my own business as a freelancer. I didn’t want to “work for a company”, I always worked for myself, as a freelancer.
Again, reading and trying a lot of solutions, I accumulated more knowledge. I also started talking with more wise men about individual sovereignty and prepared my mind for that. It’s a really hard process to get out from the slavery cage we are trained to live.
But something was missing in my “formula”: freedom money, sovereign money. And then Bitcoin came to me, in 2012…
BITCOIN IS IN MY BLOOD
The 2008 crash didn’t affect me too much, being a freelancer I could adapt easily to new markets.
But my desire to use money that does not depend on the state was coming over and over to my head, until one day I discovered Bitcoin, a friend of mine introduced me to it.
I start reading Satoshi’s Whitepaper, The Cypherpunk Manifesto, more technical and economic documentation. Then I realized: damn… THIS IS IT! My whole life I was pursuing this and I finally found it!
This is how we can make banksters obsolete!
This is how we separate money from the state!
This is how humanity will free themselves!
Because you cannot be a sovereign individual if you still depend on state money. You will always come back to the “privileges” they offers you and you have to bend the knee in order to move on with your life.
From 2012… Bitcoin changed my life, entirely, forever, for good.
So I start building my own life around Bitcoin. Improved a lot of my life in all aspects, not just financially. Bitcoin is not only about money, IT’S ABOUT EVERYTHING.
Studying Bitcoin is a life long pursuit. You have to learn a lot of things if you really want to be able to control your bitcoins, manage your finances, improve your life, make you a better wo/man, change the world around you.
Bitcoin is not about YOU! Bitcoin is about ALL AROUND YOU. If you do not start making small changes in your life and around you, Bitcoin will not help you.
Bitcoin will make you a better individual, you start seeing the world from a total other perspective.
After I discovered Bitcoin I moved away from the big city to a more rural area. Working as freelancer in IT consulting was easier for me, but even if I wouldn’t have worked in this field, I would do that step - I never regretted it. I regret only that I didn’t do it earlier.
Living a more simple life, offered me more time to study Bitcoin, to read more about sovereignty and the processes you have to do.
All these 10+ years I NEVER STOPPED learning about Bitcoin. Every single day, I learned something new, no matter how small, less important or simple it was. Each of these little things, in time come together and form your big package of knowledge about how to use Bitcoin, in any specific situation.
If you start now with Bitcoin, please NEVER stop learning something new. You will never be able to say: “Ok I know everything about Bitcoin”. That is impossible. But also just by learning how to open a wallet and pay and receive is not enough. You MUST go on learning more. Never have an “opinion” about Bitcoin or a process if you do not learn it, test it, or use it yourself. Better listen to others that have more knowledge about it, read more and only after that have an opinion. Based on your own knowledge.
Today we see many “experts” having opinions about Bitcoin but they have no idea what they are talking about.
The more you learn about Bitcoin, the more knowledgeable you have, the more toxic (to shitcoiners) you will be. It’s a natural Bitcoin effect, don’t be afraid to be a toxic maxi. Those who tell you “oh… another crazy toxic lunatic”, you will see immediately that they have no idea about Bitcoin. They know only at the surface some aspects, but nothing else.
Slowly Bitcoin will be IN YOUR BLOOD, like a real powerful stamina, which keeps you alive and invincible. Why? Because Bitcoin is TRUTH! Bitcoin will never lie, Bitcoin will never scam, Bitcoin is love, Bitcoin is like the second discovery of fire for humanity.
BITCOIN IS THE KNOWLEDGE THAT GIVES YOU THE ULTIMATE FREEDOM. BITCOIN IS PART OF THE NATURAL LAW
